I mentioned this in my other comments, but as much as subtitles may break immesion-Īllow me to break my though here to add this: I wholesomely disagree being someone who has watched subtitled movies all my life seeing as I am not a native english speaker on the west, whose country couldn't care less about the art of dubbing, not once, not ONCE have I ever felt subtitles took away from the experience. That being the case why have her talk at all if it's so unimportant? Would be more personal if she just sat in silence eyes closed. The points is I wouldn't know because I couldn't interpret the dialogue.īesides who is she talking everything else was guessed using information outside the scene. You are assuming only good things thinking they are logical, but we could have been throwed a curve ball here. For all I know she could be saying she is sorry for being the one responsible for her sister's death or that she envied her or something else. We haven't seen much of their relationship at that point. If the show does not provide confirmation in the form of enough evidence or just outright stating there is always room for doubt, mainly when you don't know what the character is saying. You downvote things that don't add to the discussion, not things you don't agree with :) PS: Remember what the Reddit etiquette for downvote is. Jokes aside I am not the only who critized this as far as I can tell. If they are that emotional and important it follows you'd want everyone to understand them. So? I still don't understand the logic behind excluding people from these emotional moments. How would any of that change by me understanding what she is saying? I already feel empathy for her, she is my favorite character so far just an absolute badass. Something that only comes up on this scene.
